OnePlus 5T’s Lava Red Color Edition Enroute in India: Scheduled for January 26

While the ‘red is the new black’ phrase has been applied excellently in the various industry, several smartphone companies, in this tech industry, have come to the fore with a bold color option of their smartphones: hence the color red! And when it comes to OnePlus, the Shenzhen based smartphone manufacturer, the company has already gone an extra mile by launching the Red color option of the recently launched OnePlus 5T, which we reported through some pictures. And undoubtedly, the pictures have turned out to be amazing! Now, the same variant is coming soon in the Indian markets.

Gizbot (via Beebom) reported that OnePlus 5T Lava Red color variant is scheduled to launch in India on January 26, i.e. the last Friday of this month. To commemorate its fourth anniversary in the Chinese markets, the company unveiled the same device in China prior to December. While at the time of its launch the device was believed to be an exclusive edition in China, recent reports hint at something bigger and massive. Indian fans have got the chance to get hold of the device, but for that, they have to hold their horses until January 26!

Despite the fact that OnePlus 5 was replaced by the newer and higher-end variant: the OnePlus 5T, the company didn’t stop creating havoc in the tech industry by launching more variants of the newer device. And apart from OnePlus 5T’s Lava red edition, the company came up with the Star Wars edition in white and red accents on the alert slider alongside few other changes.

Besides the Star Wars Edition that got official in India at Rs. 38,999, the Chinese tech giant also appeared in newer leaks where we already reported about the device in Sandstone white color variant to debut on January 5. OnePlus 5T‘s new Lava red color variant will be available in the high-end model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity. The device will sport a 6-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. And it will also follow the bandwagon of 18:9 aspect ratio. Powering the device, there’s  a 3300mAh battery with Dash Charge, which is touted as the fast charging technology by the company.

As per pricing, the new OnePlus 5T‘s Lava Red color variant is pegged with a similar price tag alike to the price of Midnight Black variant, i.e., roughly Rs. 37,999 in India and it might be exclusively available via Amazon India.
