OnePlus 6 New Render Reveal Red Alert Slider, iPhone X like Notch and More

OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is currently working on the upcoming OnePlus 6 flagship device and it is likely to get launched within the next few weeks. There has been a lot of hype about the upcoming flagship device, thanks to some leaked renders that appeared online in the past few weeks. The company also released two teaser videos on Twitter last week to confirm that the upcoming device will be called OnePlus 6. The company had earlier revealed that the OnePlus 6 flagship device will arrive with some great features like dual camera module, Snapdragon 845 chipset and will also sport the iPhone X like notch.

Now a new render has appeared online which reveals that the smartphone will arrive in three color variants of Blue, Black and White. The new render has been posted on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo, yesterday. Apart from the color variants, the render has also revealed some information about the specifications of the handset. The upcoming device will sport the notch, that was first introduced by Apple in the latest iPhone X model.

The leaked render has also revealed the front and the back panel of the smartphone. On the front, the iPhone X like notch can be seen on the top edge of the device with very thin bezels on the sides. Apart from that, the OnePlus 6 also sports a red Alert Slider on the right edge of the smartphone. The render has also confirmed that the device will feature a 6-inch display screen with an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Coming to the back panel of the device, the render confirms the presence of a dual camera module and a fingerprint sensor. The camera module has been placed in the middle of the back panel and has been aligned vertically. The LED flash has been placed just below the camera module and the fingerprint sensor further below it.

As far as the release date it concerned, OnePlus is expected to launch the device in late April or May. The upcoming smartphone will arrive in India within a couple of weeks of its global launch.
